The Jefferson College of Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University is accepting applications for part-time (20 hours per week) employed faculty for the College of Nursing’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Graduate Program. Interested applicants must possess visionary, creative leadership skills to provide implementation of nursing curriculum within the graduate program. The primary role of this position is to ensure academic integrity in areas of planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum and learning experiences of students in classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings.Job Description
Qualifications:
• MSN from an accredited institution is required. A Doctoral Degree is preferred.
Candidates who do not currently have a doctoral degree must be enrolled in a
doctoral program at an accredited institution.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) required, Psych Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge and skills related to innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum
development, evaluation, and supporting students in their journey to become
advanced practice nurses or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills.
This is a salaried position with a generous benefit and retirement program. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
