Job Details
Jefferson’s Structural heart program works to provide excellent care to patients affected by significant heart valve disease (aortic stenosis, mitral stenosis and/or mitral regurgitation) and patients with structural defects of the heart such as atrial septal defect and/or patent foreman ovale. Our interventional cardiology team offers procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter edge to edge mitral valve repair (Mitraclip device), and trans catheter closure of ASD and PFOs. A team based model of decision making and delivery of care is used to determine eligibility for these novel procedures. The Structural Heart Program APP will work interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to this patient population. This position will be exclusively to assist with Jefferson Structural Heart Program’s multidisciplinary team. The APP will work closely with the Lead Structural Heart Nurse Practitioner and clinical administrative assistant as part of a team based model and delivery of care.Job Description
