Clinical Revenue Integrity Coordinator

Job Description

Supports Physician Advisor team, completing insurance calls & documenting accordingly, managing coverage/staffing schedule and submitting reimbursement for payroll & CME. Functions as a bridge between the Physician Advisor and Utilization Management teams, supporting UM by utilizing RCE resources. Demonstrates strong collaboration with all professional disciplines & key stakeholders within the Clinical Revenue Integrity team to ensure effective and efficient achievement of desired outcomes. Also provides administrative support to the Jefferson Health Medical Director & Jefferson Health Utilization Management Director, having oversight of each calendar, preparing data & metrics for presentations, as well as generating new analytical reports when needed for education and network reporting purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Works under the direction of Medical Director & UM Director to assist with design/development/production of education materials, spreadsheets, presentations, reports and e-learning modules.
  • Analyzes existing PA/UM work processes and works in tandem with key stakeholders in the process to optimize and streamline all processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintains select evaluation and architecture of data on program usage metrics working to analyze and optimize all outcomes relating to revenue, reimbursement and related education.
  • Performs activities to support coordination, scheduling & preparation for educational programs.
  • Maintains management data, program calendars, a catalog of program resources including for faculty use, as well as coordinating use of all resources by key stakeholders.
  • Prepares presentations for PA/UM meeting needs, keeps minutes up to date, coordinates all activities related with meeting needs.
  • Maintains administrative support to Medical Director & UM Director, including assistance with scheduling/calendar management, budgetary input as warranted, and special pay/payroll related needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education - Required Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Health Care Administration or Marketing Experience - Required 4 years as an office coordinator or in the area of project coordination and/or managerial experience.

Experience - Preferred 1-year previous office and/or programmatic management/leadership experience.

Clinical Revenue Integrity Coordinate… 1/3 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office, clinical systems and data collection. Proficient typing speed of 60-80 WPM.

Demonstrated initiative and ability to function autonomously, as well as interdependently, while prioritizing appropriately. Ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Strong problem solving skills and brainstorming toward usable solutions. Exceptional ability to multitask and handle interruption with ease. Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while demonstrating poise & professionalism in all interactions.
