The NCLEX Training Manager is responsible for governing NCLEX training quality, hybrid delivery effectiveness, and vendor performance, ensuring all review activities are aligned with the NCLEX Test Plan, Academy standards, and expected readiness outcomes.
The role focuses on quality assurance, standards enforcement, and performance oversight, ensuring the Nursing Academy consistently produces exam-ready candidates while meeting delivery timelines.
This role works closely with the Academy Training Manager, NCLEX vendor, Operations, and Workforce Management (WFM) to ensure training delivery is effective, issues are addressed proactively, and readiness aligns with deployment needs. The role does not directly facilitate training.
Establish and maintain standards for NCLEX training quality, readiness expectations, and content alignment.
Ensure all training activities are aligned with the NCLEX Test Plan and clinical judgment requirements.
Define and maintain “ready-to-sit” criteria in alignment with Academy standards.
Oversee NCLEX training vendor performance against agreed SLAs, schedules, and quality expectations.
Ensure hybrid review delivery (vendor-led and internally facilitated models) is functioning effectively across cohorts.
Identify breakdowns in delivery (content, engagement, scheduling, outcomes) and drive resolution with the vendor and internal stakeholders.
Conduct regular performance reviews based on learner outcomes, engagement, and pass rate trends.
Review and validate NCLEX training materials and assessments for accuracy and alignment with current standards.
Ensure consistency of content across cohorts and alignment with NCLEX Test Plan updates.
Recommend enhancements to strengthen clinical reasoning, prioritization, and exam readiness.
Analyze cohort performance, assessment results, and readiness indicators.
Identify at-risk trends (e.g., topic gaps, cohort performance issues, readiness mismatches) and recommend targeted interventions.
Ensure readiness standards are consistently applied prior to exam scheduling.
Coordinate closely with Operations and WFM to ensure training output aligns with deployment requirements and timelines.
Identify and resolve issues impacting readiness, scheduling, and transition to Operations.
Ensure alignment between training progress, exam readiness, and workforce demand.
Drive improvements to NCLEX training quality, hybrid delivery effectiveness, and overall outcomes.
Support alignment and knowledge sharing with global teams (e.g., India Academy).
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen clinician readiness across the training pipeline.
Philippine Registered Nurse (PH RN); USRN required or strongly preferred
6–10+ years of clinical and/or NCLEX-related training experience
Strong working knowledge of the NCLEX Test Plan and clinical judgment frameworks
Experience working with external training vendors or review programs
Strong analytical, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination skills
