Memberships: BSN Certification
Work experience: Required – Minimum 2 years of nursing management / supervisory experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in a wellness-related role
Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
1. Identifies Trends by reviewing claims data, utilization patterns, and employee feedback provided in broker reports to pinpoint prevalent health issues and areas of concern within the workforce.
2. Analyzes statistical information from programs’ results to track progress and improvements in alignment with wellness plans and budget.
3. Collaborates with management and external healthcare partners, such as third-party administrators, medical, dental, vision, disability, and employee assistance programs, etc. to develop initiatives that align with health priorities.
4. Develops and implement specific targeted health and wellness programs to mitigate health claims, reduce costs and address trending in claims data.
5. Coordinates wellness projects, meetings, and regular communication.
6. Use expertise to develop and implement programs that improve well-being, encourage healthy behaviors, and aim to reduce healthcare costs.
7. Understands Benefit Utilization by analyzing how employees use their benefits to reveal barriers or misunderstandings about the available programs.
8. Enhances Communication by refining communication strategies to better inform employees about their benefits and encourage participation in relevant wellness initiatives.
9. Conducts site visits for all affiliate company president identified sites to review sites/programs/schedules and make recommendation for wellness programs / health improvement
10. Works with external organizations / companies to create partnerships with discounted memberships for health and wellness programs such as pro deals with Peloton, Gym discounts etc.
11. Provides Support and Advocacy data on member calls and interactions by highlighting common issues and guiding the development of advocacy services to help employees navigate benefit complexities and resolve problems.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements wellness programs.
2. Assesses health and wellness needs.
3. Coordinates with health professionals and wellness vendors.
4. Organizes health screenings, workshops, and events.
5. Conducts regular site visits to all companies and affiliate company sites.
6. Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness.
7. Develops dashboards and provides metrics for review to leadership.
8. Provides leadership and direction to wellness staff.
9. Promotes a culture of wellness.
10. Provides individual wellness coaching or counseling.
11. Maintains knowledge of wellness trends.
12. Maintains compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
1. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
2. Strong leadership in program and project management
3. Proficient in tracking of wellness trends
4. Proficient with data analysis, collaboration, and technology
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents and presentations.
7. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of external clients, employees, and management.
8. Ability to travel as needed by car or air to support customers for health fairs, wellness strategy meetings, and open enrollment events.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgement.
10. Ability to prioritize effectively, demonstrating organizational and time management skills.
11. Remain flexible to schedule adjustments and evening or weekend working hours to accommodate customer availability.
12. Self-motivated and independent ability to work effectively.
13. Must pass a pre-employment background check.
