Academic Req: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Certifications: None
Work experience: 2 years experience in business management; customer service or HR experience required. Experience with the Workday platform.
Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
Onboarding Duties:
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the candidate onboarding process to ensure smooth and efficient experience.
• Support new hires in completing all onboarding tasks accurately and within designated timeframes.
• Communicate with new hires via phone and email to provide guidance and resolve outstanding onboarding issues.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports summarizing the onboarding status of all new hires by close of business.
• Process I-9 forms and complete E-Verify for new hires within the required three-business-day window.
• Upload finalized I-9 and E-Verify documentation to each new hire’s Workday profile.
• Issue company ID badges promptly to both new and existing employees.
• Create new hire email accounts using Active Directory Manager.
• Complete assigned customer support tickets with accurate documentation and timely resolution.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, providing helpful and courteous customer service.
• Oversee expense management activities, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate expense records.
• Process expenses promptly and in accordance with company policy.
Background Screening Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive background checks on candidates’ education, employment history, and certifications using approved tools and databases.
• Collaborate with external vendors to obtain verification data accurately and within required timeframes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during the verification process, communicating findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Engage directly with candidates to facilitate timely and user-friendly completion of background checks and employment verifications.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
• Ensure all background verifications are completed in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
1. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
2. Acquire a working knowledge and ability to use Workday.
3. Work with minimal supervision.
4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
5. Strong customer service focus and commitment.
6. Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
7. Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
8. Ability to handle high volume of customer tickets daily while maintaining a positive attitude.
9. Ability to multi-task in a high-volume setting.
