Vice President, Human Resources (VP HR)
The Vice President, Human Resources Officer is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global human resources strategy. The role is focused on leading the company's people strategy and providing strategic HR guidance and direction. The VP HR will oversee all aspects of the company's human resources operations, including, but not limited, to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. This position reports into the SVP General Counsel.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive global human resources strategy that is aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives
Lead the company’s recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives to ensure access to top talent
Manage the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to support human resources operations and maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure all HR functions are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
Oversee the company's performance management program, including providing guidance and support to managers on performance reviews and disciplinary action
Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
Develop and maintain positive employee relations by providing guidance and support to employees and managers
Advises management on staffing plans and ensures hiring goals are achieved
Monitors employee turnover and conducts exit interviews
Provides strategic guidance on growth strategies and participates in M&A activities
Board and executive committee reporting/presentations
Organizational design and restructuring initiatives
Culture transformation and change management leadership
Executive coaching and leadership development programs
Succession planning for key positions
Employment law compliance auditing and risk assessment
Workplace safety and OSHA compliance coordination
Data privacy compliance (employee data, GDPR, etc.)
Internal investigations and workplace misconduct handling
International employment law compliance across 30+ countries
Global mobility and expatriate management
Cross-cultural training and global workforce integration
International compensation benchmarking
Export control compliance for HR processes
Manufacturing workforce planning and skills development
Union relations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience in human resources management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant human resources laws, regulations, and best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Able to think strategically and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
Experience with leading a global HR team
M&A integration experience
HRIS and HR technology implementation experience
Executive compensation design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred SHRM-SCP or PHR certification
Preferred Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Preferred manufacturing experience
Budget management experience
Board presentation experience
Our Vice President Human Resources will earn variable compensation including a base salary and bonus. Base salary range takes into consideration experience, education, and training. Not to mention all the amazing benefits available for employee selection as well.
