Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.
We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in Salem, Oregon.
What you will do:
In this position you will deliver high-quality customer service to the general public by responding to inquiries regarding fish and wildlife licenses, regulations, and agency services in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. This will be done through email, phone, and in-person contact.
You will also provide user support to license agents on the statewide Electronic License System (ELS), and support for various agency activities and obligations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in customer service. One year of which must have included explanation of rules, regulations, and policies and responsibility for dealing with unique or unusual situations.
Desired Attributes
Experience working in a fast-paced office with multiple priorities
Experience using Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote/OneDrive
Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro
Experience using Outlook email and calendar
Knowledge of technical/biological terminology and ORS/OAR language
Experience and/or exposure working with fish and wildlife.
Experience in providing good customer service to variety of staff and members of the public.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
