Job Summary

Are you the type of person who can consistently meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service? In this role you will assist with processing payroll and provide backup for payroll deductions and expense reporting. We’re looking for a person with experience using payroll or time tracking systems that is comfortable with learning new software.

What You’ll Do

1. Assist with payroll processing and auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

2. Assist with tier I and II payroll deductions from various sources.

3. Prepare reports to assist with the transmission of data for various inbound and outbound interfaces.

4. Process employee verifications from various sources in a timely manner.

5. Assist with time record audits.

6. Assist with expense report processing.

What We’re Looking For

- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of two years of payroll related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems. Workday experience preferred.

- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and take appropriate action quickly.

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential in this role.

Travel

- No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
