The Customer Service Representative (I, II, III, Float) provides a “Wow” experience for customers, assists customers with financial transactions. Offers a wide variety of services and advises as to how best utilize company products and services in order to meet personal financial goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide excellent customer service in person at the counter, through the drive-up, and over the phone, assisting customers with their banking needs in a professional and friendly manner.
Accountable for cash drawer; locking cash drawer; balancing currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift; and reporting any discrepancies to supervisor.
Answers basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
Prints debit cards and signs the customer up for Online Banking and services associated with OB.
Answers the phone using Brilliant at the Basics customer service.
Actively uses and discusses the Bank’s Tell-A-Friend Program.
Runs most DNA transactions and/or knows where to find procedures to be self-sufficient.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience, cash handling experience, and/or sales experience preferred but not required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Interpret and use data for decision making.
