JOB SUMMARY: 

The Odessa, TX Hot Shot Driver is primarily responsible for hauling cargo to and from rigs, yards, and vendor sites including tying down and safely unloading cargo.  The position also assists with warehouse shipping/receiving and yard maintenance. This position will be a 5:2 (Mon. - Fri.), local to Midland/Odessa Texas.

• Hauls cargo to and from rigs, yards, and vendor sites, including securely tying down and safely unloading cargo.

• Assists with warehouse shipping/receiving and yard maintenance.

• Operates the truck in compliance with established safety regulations and procedures.

• Assists in loading and unloading cargo.

• Maintains the drilling yard by providing general maintenance and upkeep.

• Monitors trucks performance.

• Demonstrates commitment to H&P’s health, safety, and environmental standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to operate forklift, aerial work platform and other material handling equipment.

• Ability to plan and organize multiple processes.

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Commercial drivers’ license. Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record to drive company provided vehicles.

• Passes all Department of Transportation requirements.
