Job Description:
Responsible for direct sales and executing growth strategies to targeted programs. Increase referrals by developing and cultivating strategic provider relationships as it relates to the growth of Nebraska Medicine and its clinical programs. Builds positive relationships with a variety of clinical leaders, office staff, and referring providers while providing information about Nebraska Medicine services. Responsible for all facets of lead management, referral development, business development, and customer service to increase our market share and geographical footprint. Responsible for strengthening provider relationships through data-driven analytics, gathering competitive market intelligence and identifying opportunities for improvement. Using consultative and account based selling principles to increase referrals, provide account management, and uncover new opportunities for growth and expansion. Responsible for the development and execution of the outreach and business development strategic plan based on organizational goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years experience in medical sales, business development, physician relations, or healthcare management experience required.
• Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans required.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with executive leadership, physicians, administrative and clinical staff required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills required
• Strong collaboration with other departments and the ability adapt to the environment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in developing business plans, sales strategies, and presentations in support of provider and health system growth preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience in health system operations preferred.
