What is the compensation?
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience)

What will I do?
Recruit volunteers.
Identify tasks and projects within the department that can be performed by volunteers.
Organize, supervise, and work with volunteer groups and City staff to complete projects.
Perform varied project-related tasks at city park sites and other grounds
May perform some office duties to receive and coordinate requests for Eagle Scout projects and other service groups.
Assist department staff as needed and perform other related duties as required.
What do I need to apply?
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or other related field.
A valid, lawful Driver License.
Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field preferred.
What is the selection process?
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted, with the first screening being held on March 23, 2026. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.
If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
