Role Summary
Ready to take the lead in defending against today’s most advanced cyber threats? As a Lead Information Security Analyst at Triumph, you’ll be the go-to expert for protecting our systems, data, and networks. You’ll design and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, lead incident detection and response, and mentor a team of analysts—all while staying ahead of evolving threats in the digital landscape.
Day in the Life
You’ll start your day reviewing security alerts and system health checks, quickly addressing any issues before they become bigger problems. Your afternoons might be spent conducting vulnerability assessments, fine-tuning cloud security controls in Azure or AWS, or leading investigations into suspicious network activity. Along the way, you’ll partner with IT and business teams, share best practices, and ensure our cyber defense strategies are one step ahead.
What You’ll Be Doing
Protect critical data, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats
Lead threat detection, prevention, and incident response activities
Manage identity and access management (IAM, PAM) and role-based access controls
Implement and optimize cloud security for Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments
Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation
Monitor and investigate alerts using SIEM tools and log analysis
Maintain compliance with SOC 1, SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, and other regulations
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior security analysts
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, frameworks, and best practices
Deliver clear documentation and performance reports to stakeholders
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
5+ years in information security or cybersecurity analyst roles
CompTIA Security+ certification (CISSP preferred)
Expertise with cloud security tools, the Azure Security Engineering, and AWS Security Specialty
Familiarity with CIS 2.0, NIST 800-53, and FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPN, MFA, EDR, DLP, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability scanners
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams
