Job Description Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and distribute incoming tax department mail and emails to the appropriate internal teams to ensure efficient communication and workflow
Scan and upload licensing information to designated software systems, ensuring proper documentation and organization
Assemble and prepare payments and tax compliance filings for timely mailing, ensuring deadlines are met
Respond to verbal requests, phone calls, and written correspondence in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, while interacting with all levels of employees
Resolve or redirect inquiries and issues directed to the department, providing solutions when possible or escalating as needed
Process invoices for payment and oversee the contract management process to ensure timely review and approval of external contracts
Utilize independent judgment and initiative to address departmental issues, making decisions to maintain smooth operations
Proofread and maintain accurate documentation, correspondence, and follow up on any open items to ensure responsiveness and compliance
Organize and manage departmental activities, coordinate special projects, maintain electronic tax calendars for compliance filings, and update the department's store list in Access as required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required
Associate’s degree in general business preferred
3-5 years with administrative role with executive support
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal skills, as well as organizational skills
