ROLE OVERVIEW
Safely make photopolymer printing plates while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with all other team members throughout your shift. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
Support and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiatives
Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facility
Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors /Management of Quality concerns/issues
Maintain a respectful and collaborative work environment
Learn the platemaking schedule and how to utilize it properly
Perform plate processing and inspection
Enter production data into a database
Prepare plates for storage or shipment to other facilities
Analyze problems and troubleshoot solutions
Maintain company requirements for food safety and cleanliness
Assist in the training and development of all team members
Additional duties as assigned

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Lead with safety as a value
Effective communications skills, both oral and written
Able to work both independently and with others while maintaining a positive attitude
Basic computer skills
The ability to multitask and meet production goals
One to three years of related manufacturing experience
Mechanical aptitude
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage before assuming these responsibilities
