Local fabricating company is seeking Warehouse/Forklift Associates in their warehouse. The candidates will need basic computer skills along with 6 months experience operating a forklift.

Summary of Duties:

Responsible for overall operations, workflow, and inventory in and around raw material warehouse. Responsible for safely transporting materials from one department to another on the forklift. Ensure that proper documentation is recorded and assure completion of work in a timely and productive manner.

Pay: $17.00/hr.

1st shift: M - F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
**
2nd shift: M - F 8:00 PM-5:00PM

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for unloading trucks of raw materials.
  • Place raw material (cooper or aluminum) into its designated location the racks.
  • Pull raw materials from their designated locations to be used in accordance to plating and
  • Fabrication production schedules.
  • Transport materials as needed from warehouse to the plating or fabrication area and to and from other locations.
  • Perform all department procedures for proper accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in completing the monthly safety inspection.
  • Miscellaneous duties as directed by department management.
  • Operation of a forklift.

Minimum Job Requirements (but not limited to):

  • 1–2 years general warehouse experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and production standards.
  • Legible handwriting and ability to follow written instructions accurately.
  • Well developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative as a team player to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Must be able to work well with periodic supervision and exercise reasonable judgement independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds at frequent intervals.
  • Must maintain “meets expectation” attendance, safety, and job performance evaluations.
  • Working understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.
  • Working understanding of standard product flow.
  • Must be flexible to work any shift or overtime as assigned by management.
  • This job requires standing, stooping, and bending 100% of the time.
