Moelis & Company is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure (REGLL) group in New York. The role offers significant exposure to M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions across the sector.

Associates are core members of deal teams, expected to take on meaningful responsibility in transaction execution while managing junior resources and delivering high-quality analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee financial analysis and valuation (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
  • Manage Analysts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output
  • Prepare and review client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation
  • Support execution of M&A, financing, and advisory transactions
  • Coordinate due diligence and interact with clients and external advisors
  • Communicate effectively with senior bankers and contribute to strategic discussions
  • Track industry trends across real estate, gaming, and lodging

Requirements

  • Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and accounting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage junior team members
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred
  • MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Sector experience in real estate, gaming, or lodging is a plus

Compensation

Expected Salary Range: USD $175,000 – $225,000
