Join a team that helps create a seamless and positive patient experience from the very first interaction. Logan Health Medical Center is seeking a highly organized, service-minded Scheduler to support our imaging team in Kalispell, Montana.

In this important role, you will support imaging scheduling and help coordinate services for patients, providers, and care teams.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will provide scheduling services and administrative support to enhance department operations, improve access to care, and ensure an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately scheduling imaging services and procedures according to department protocols

  • Explaining and verifying exam preparation instructions with patients as needed

  • Coordinating resources to support appropriate availability of equipment and supplies

  • Communicating professionally and clearly with patients, providers, leadership, and staff

  • Supporting daily operations in partnership with department leadership and team members

  • Assisting with cross-training and onboarding of new staff as needed

  • Helping reduce duplicate accounts and maintain accurate databases

  • Managing responsibilities calmly and efficiently during busy periods and high patient volumes

  • Protecting patient privacy and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Additional duties may vary based on department needs and assigned area.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding support in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Preferred qualifications include one of the following:

  • Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare

  • Previous healthcare or customer service experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Additional qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software

  • Accurate typing skills of 45 wpm preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills and critical thinking ability

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to regular and reliable attendance
