TASKS:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Productivity Buyers to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Take full ownership of achieving the site's cost reduction and productivity targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, R&D, and Production teams to identify and validate potential savings.
  • Identify, drive, and manage the implementation of technical and strategic productivity projects.
  • Build a robust pipeline of cost-saving ideas by leading workshops with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Drive supplier engagement and participation in proposing and implementing cost reduction ideas.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities align with global standards and contribute to key business performance indicators.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or commodity management, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or team management role, with a proven ability to coach and develop direct reports.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation & communication skills
