Job Description:
The Senior Research Assistant at the School of Public Health’s Department of Health Services Policy & Practice joins a vibrant team supporting the activities of the Department and the Center for Advancing Health Policy through Research. The Senior Research Assistant is involved in health services and partnered pragmatic research to establish the evidence base for practices to improve care for older adults.
The Senior Research Assistant works closely with the research team on a wide range of project-related tasks, such as project management, project documentation, IRB application support, progress reports, administrative support, internal and external communication, literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and report writing. The Senior Research Assistant will also contribute to dissemination of research findings and relationship building with key stakeholders. All tasks may be performed independently and/or without direct supervision in an on- or off-site location.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 3 to 5 years of research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to set goals and work independently to manage both short- and long-term responsibilities.
Ability to sustain a high level of productivity and work independently while being part of a
collaborative team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
Computer skills (word processing, data management, Power Point, reference manager).
Proficiency with analytic software including but not limited to Excel.
Additional physical demands and working conditions: Remote

This is a fixed term position with a current end date of 12/31/2027 which may be extended based upon available funding.
