The Teledyne FLIR manufacturing facility in Freeport, PA makes optical components that go into thermal imaging cameras, gimbals, scopes, and other military driven products. We are looking to hire an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the facility. Areas of responsibility include Vacuum Deposition Chambers, Optical Fabrication equipment, and support equipment / systems. Activities include performing preventative maintenance for the areas and high priority must be used to address any line down situations. Troubleshooting and repairs need to be performed in a timely fashion to minimize machine down time, this includes communication with equipment OEM to support repairs. When required, the Technician will be responsible for coordinating OEM repair technical support on site. Technician must have a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and be capable of safely working with voltages of 120 V single phase, 208/240 V single and 3 phase, and 480 V 3 phase. The Technician will provide support in all production areas and the facility as required.
