TRUCK DRIVER MED TRUCK

GDIT is seeking a Class B Truck Driver to help support the SACSS program in Chula Vista, California

This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided.

Job Description:

• Drives medium duty vehicles such as box trucks and stake-bed trucks.
• Hauls merchandise and or equipment.
• Loads and unloads vehicle cargo, including, in accordance with weight guidelines and limitations.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• May make overnight or extended trips requiring irregular hours.
• Maintains related records including trip logs and manifests.
• Performs vehicle safety inspections, and routine maintenance and servicing of the vehicle.
• Participates in Warehouse Operations.
• Receives and Ships program material.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Requires a valid CDL Class B Driver’s License

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.10 - $29.90. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
