The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. Our office Located at 40 Turkey Hill Rd, Belchertown, MA 01007 provides physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for adults. The goal is to identify and control patients' health risk factors before they become problems. We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and promote general health, disease prevention and overall well-being.


 

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our Primary care office onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Weekly schedules consist of 32 hours of clinical, patient-facing time and 8 hours of administrative time. The APP will have the ability to select their preferred administrative day.

The APP will support the practices panel of patients enhancing practice operations, increasing patient volume and efficiency while also providing excellent patient care and experience. This includes traditional primary care visits and same day sick appointments, while carrying a panel of patients. With this model, providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team.

Education
Master's Degree Physician Assistant required

Experience
Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
