Job Summary
McLean Hospital is a comprehensive psychiatric hospital committed to providing easy access to superior quality, cost-effective mental health services in the Boston area, Massachusetts and beyond. Since 1811, McLean Hospital has been a world leader in the treatment of mental illness and chemical dependency, research into the cause of mental illness and the training of generations of mental health care providers. McLean Fernside (https://www.mcleanhospital.org/treatment/fernside) is a 30-day, residential program within the McLean Hospital Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. The treatment program is housed in a former bed-and-breakfast in the quaint town of Princeton, Massachusetts. The region features charming New England town living with excellent schools and recreational opportunities along with the nearby cultural and entertainment offerings of Boston and Worcester.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Clinical work will be performed in person at McLean Fernside. One day per week can generally be reserved for elective experiences, which may include off-site clinical rotations, structured educational pursuits, or research activities based on the applicant’s interests and background.
