Overview

 Rotating shift electrician responsible for maintaining all cold mill electrical equipment, this includes switch gear, motor drives, PLC controls, gauge systems, instrumentation, cab cranes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the area of Safety, know all SDI safety programs and assist with the implementation of these programs. Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all cold mill electrical equipment, answer maintenance calls on shift and perform project work.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be qualified to safely work around all levels of electrical supply voltage. Strong electrical maintenance skills, basic knowledge of PLC controls and AC/DC motor drives a must.
