What You’ll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping Nashville’s buildings safe.

You will:

  • Service, repair, and troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, and fire pump sprinkler systems

  • Perform internal inspections and backflow-related tasks

  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications

  • Work hands-on with tools and equipment (up to 60 lbs)

  • Operate safely on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding—up to 40+ feet

  • Maintain a clean, safe worksite and properly secure tools

  • Use basic computer/phone applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, iPhone apps)

  • Complete daily documentation and time reports

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors about schedule or site changes

  • Participate in rotating on-call or weekend service needs

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required

  • 3–5 years in the Fire Sprinkler Service industry

  • Strong working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems, plus fire pumps

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Sprinkler license and/or Backflow license (or willingness to obtain)

  • NICET certification

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $30.00 – $37.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
