What You Will Do

Step into a role that positions you at the forefront of advanced security solutions. You’ll represent Johnson Controls Advanced Services, partnering with a Senior Account Executive (SAE) to develop and grow business with major accounts—both existing and new. This is your opportunity to learn from industry leaders while building relationships that matter and driving impactful results.

You’ll play a critical role in:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

  • Driving growth by developing new leads, preparing proposals, and closing approved contracts.

  • Providing strategic input on market trends, competitive insights, and sales strategies.

  • Supporting the SAE with day-to-day activities like customer meetings, quotes, surveys, and resolving challenges related to billing, monitoring, and installation.

How You Will Do It

  • Network and build influence with security consultants, A&E firms, general contractors, and product manufacturers.

  • Represent Johnson Controls at industry trade shows and professional associations.

  • Engage with corporate accounts through in-person meetings, calls, and RFP responses.

  • Develop consultative selling skills to present integrated security solutions—video surveillance, access control, and networked applications—while understanding compliance and labor environments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by mastering the latest security technologies and translating complex solutions into clear, compelling benefits for clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • College degree or equivalent work/military experience.

  • 2–5 years of successful sales or customer relations experience in a professional setting.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for technology and a desire to build a career in the Life Safety and Security industry.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $47,000 - 70,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
