What you will do:
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Greenville, WI. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
How you will do it:
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Loads system-level controller software. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems
Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2026 internship.
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing a degree in engineering or HVAC or other technical degree
Currently a sophomore or higher status
Knowledgeable in the use of personal computers and the appropriate applications, including Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint.
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Have strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team
Energetic and driven attitude – you do what it takes to get the task completed
Good organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
Demonstrated problem solving skills required

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
