Element Resources operates one of the leading Battery Recycling facilities in the country and has been a mainstay in the Muncie community for over 30 years. Did you know that batteries are the most recycled product in the world with a more than 99 percent recycling rate? Element provides an essential supply of recycled products to America's battery manufacturers to produce high quality, top performing batteries to power cars, trucks and forklifts, which are vital to keeping our country's supply chain running.
Individual is responsible for testing products produced by Element and materials received from suppliers for all areas of the plant. Provide accurate, objective, and timely results of testing with production personnel (supervisors and operators) to contain an issue, determine root cause, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing results, as well as, following all documented test methods. Will order chemicals and alloys used in refining process. Comply with Element and ISO/9001 and 14001 procedures and requirements as applicable.

While performing the duties of this job the individual is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The individual is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift a minimum 25 lbs and 26 to 150 lbs with assistance of equipment. The regular use of safety glasses and steel toed shoes is required, as well as limited use of respirator. The vision requirements are for close vision.
