Job Summary and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Guardian of Safety: Proactively monitoring critical life safety systems (fire, medical gas, infant security), building systems, alarms, and security cameras, swiftly escalating any issues.
  • Emergency Response Pro: Initiating and coordinating hospital codes, and alerting staff to arriving ED patients and any changes in their condition.
  • Information Relay: Disseminating crucial information through various communication channels.
  • Patient & Staff Liaison: Utilizing EPIC for patient arrival/logging, managing physician call rosters, and providing top-notch customer service to ED patients while effectively communicating with our ER team.
  • Logistics Support: Managing hospital vehicle sign-outs.

Job Requirements

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.  Prefer post high school education in computers, customer, service, office skills, medical terminology, etc.  

Experience: Prefer previous reception or customer service experience.
