CHI Health has an amazing opportunity to add a Clinic LPN Scheduler to our GI team located at our CUMC-Bergan Campus / Service Center off of 77th & Mercy! 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call! 

 

Are you a highly organized LPN who excels at coordinating complex schedules while keeping a calm, positive attitude? Do you love the satisfaction of a perfectly orchestrated day? Our fast-paced Gastroenterology Clinic is seeking a skilled LPN Procedure Scheduler to be the maestro of our scheduling, ensuring a smooth, harmonious experience for our patients and providers.

 

Scheduling and Coordinating Procedure Appointments:

• Scheduling procedure appointments for patients to include:
• Creating (from template) instructions from a completed questionnaire.
• Enter medication for the upcoming procedure (when needed). 
• Other duties as assigned.

Verifying Patient Information:

• Confirming patient demographics, insurance information, and other relevant details.
• Communicating with Patients and Healthcare Teams:
• Communicating appointment details, handling inquiries, and coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Managing Pre-procedure calls and Reminders:

• Creating, and sending out patient instructions for the scheduled procedure.
• During the pre-procedure call, they will review patients instructions ensuring patients receive necessary information for the scheduled procedure.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Current LPN license in good standing with the state licensing board 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association 
• Completion of IV Therapy Course
