Overview

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and families. Additional job descrepyion include collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide the patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner must demontrate proficiency in the following areas: MST, ICU and ER.

Qualifications

Graduate from an AMA accredied School of Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.

Minimum of one year acute care experence in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred

Current CA RCP license

Current Healthcare Provider BLS

Current ACLS

Current PALS and NRP, within 90 days of hire

RRT preferred.
