Personal Workspace Solutions is the biggest division of Logitech, consisting of the tech devices and apps that help people be at their creative and productive best in their personal workspace. Our Gaming business is a key pillar of Logitech’s future as a global brand known for great design and exceptional user experiences.

You will be in the rapidly growing Gaming team in China, and play a lead role in strategizing and executing a new product pipeline in a range of segments, including human-interface devices, personal working place solutions, human-computer interaction, and other emerging technologies in China. You will be responsible for the Firmware development of a portfolio of products within the Gaming China team, from the Strategic Front End, through product development, and into successful mass production in the Far East.

You will be in close partnership with our marketing, innovation, design, architects, extended engineering organisation, program management, operation, and manufacturing to bring those products to market.

You will base on our Suzhou office, reporting to the in China for China engineering leader of Gaming.

• Develop Firmware for keyboards, mice & gaming devices

• Partner with a cross functional team of experts in Electrical Engineering, Tracking Technologies, Optical, etc.

• Integrate 3rd party components into our design

• Partner with SW experts for interface design, implementation and integration

• Propose design, architecture evolutions, make things better/smarter/faster

• Validate your work, write production code, and automated tests

• Work with Business Groups to gather requirements

• Participate to innovation programs, coach colleagues

• Prototype and show your ideas

• Engage with colleagues in a multi-site & multicultural environment (US, Switzerland, Taiwan)

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• 5+ years in a firmware engineering role within product development.

• Fluent in embedded firmware in C/C++ including test and de-bug.

• Experiences in 8051 and ARM Cortex-M series MCU firmware development.

• Practically minded with strong problem solving skills.

• Self-driven and autonomous

• Strong technical documentation skills

• Fluent spoken & written English and Chinese

• In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Version control tools: git...

  • Agile development, unit testing, scripting

  • Experiences in Bluetooth and bidirectional RF Human Interface Device (HID) firmware development

  • Signal processing experience

Education

• BEng(Hons)/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering with strong firmware engineering experience.
