Location: Brisbane, Australia
Report to: Regional Manager- Project Management (ANZ/SAS)

The Opportunity
PURPOSE:
• JBTM is a multinational company dealing with Food Processing Technology.
• The position is responsible for the Managing Projects in ANZ region.
• PM shall be responsible for company targets in terms of Sales, maintaining GM% and POC
• PM shall support the customer care team to provide budgets during pre-sales stage.
• PM shall forward weekly/monthly project reports regularly. Reports include forecast of costs, variances and risks.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Project management shall include intercompany communication with various JBTM manufacturing units and technology centers.
• PM shall handle sourcing, negotiation from suppliers and seeking approval
• Job shall also include supporting sales, application and aftermarket departments.
• Project manager may also be called on to handle projects within the company and APAC region. Will execute other additional duties as required.
• Job entails lots of travel within ANZ region and at times, APAC and worldwide
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY:
• To Manage Projects in terms of Scope, Time, Budget and safety
• Receives direction from management to set objectives for projects.
• Demonstrates proficiency in using independent judgment. Consistently and clearly demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions.
• Projects may involve new technology or new engineering content.
• Defines project schedule.
• Accurately able to forecasts costs for projects regularly
• Anticipates potential risks and proactively solves problems using internal and external resources.
• Train & develop juniors in technical and Project management capabilities
• Develop & maintain customer relationship
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• This position requires a minimum of Bachelor of Engineering (electrical, mechanical, Chemical etc.)
• Five to Ten Year experience in Project management and Engineering.
• Exposure to Food technology processes & equipment.
• Some knowledge of fillers, closers, aseptic filling, refrigeration would be advantageous
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and standards.
• Verbal & written communication in English.
• Handling international customers
• Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment and contributes significantly to team performance.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and effective communication across functional and managerial boundaries.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management from various levels within the organization and customers.
