Job Summary:
We don’t just check guest in – we welcome them into our summer home. Our front desk team is at the heart of guest experience, and we’re looking for someone to help lead the charge with energy, empathy, and excellence. You are the co-pilot of smooth arrivals, calm problem-solver during chaos, and a cheerleader for the front desk crew. You thrive on making people smile, keeping things organized, and juggle a dozen things at once.
The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: late-April through September 2026 (exact dates vary by location)Pay: TBDSchedule: Typical schedule is 45-50 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Perform all functions on the Guest Service Associate job description.
- Support and assist the Guest Service Manager in leading the front desk and bell teams (Lake McDonald and Many Glacier only)
- Be a hands-on leader – greeting guests, checking them in/out, and jumping in wherever needed
- Train, coach, and motivate agents to deliver top-tier service (and maybe win a few great reviews).
- Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally – turning “uh-oh” into “all good.”
- Monitor reservations, room availability, and special requests
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and team performance evaluations
- Train staff in detailed knowledge about the hotel’s services, hours of operations, and surrounding areas.
- Responsible for daily guest room blocking and guest requests are handled.
- Handle escalated guest concerns with grace, empathy, and solutions
- Lead by example in maintaining standards, cleanliness, and a positive team vibe
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.

- Friendly, outgoing personality with a “Yes, absolutely!” attitude
- Demonstrate strong and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and think on your feet
- Tech-savvy enough to use front desk software and troubleshoot a guest room key issue. Requires strong computer skills to operate Opera Property Management Software (PMS).
- Passion for people and love of hospitality
- A talent for turning frowns upside down
- Must be flexible and adaptable to different changes and have good decision making skills
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, overnights, and occasional guest emergencies
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to supervise and train the staff members
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills, goal oriented, and strong interpersonal communication skills and should be able to handle pressure situations
Experience:
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience or sales management experience.
Physical Requirements include:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- Stand for up to eight hours per shift.
- Requires bending, stretching and reaching throughout a shift.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
