Overview

A lovely family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time live-out nanny to start no later than the first week of January for their infant who will be around 5 months old at the start of the position. There are also two preschool-age children in the home who have a separate nanny. The infant nanny may care for two children about 6-8 hours per week. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm.

Responsibilities

● Full infant care including feeding, nap and meal schedules, diapering, bathing, washing bottles, and sanitizing baby items, etc. ● Encouraging development including daily reading, tummy time, and language development through play ● Child laundry● Meal prep/cooking lunch for older two children and eventually baby once solids are introduced ● Walks outside and visits to classes, parks, and playdates as the baby grows ● Occasionally covering care of all 3 children if other nanny is sick or on vacation

Qualifications

• Pitch-in attitude and a proactive, warm, and positive personality• Fluency in English• Early childhood development knowledge; college degree ideal (though not strictly required)

Requirements

• Reliable as both parents have busy jobs • Team player and experience in fully staffed homes ideal• Physically able to push stroller to and from local activities, lift children in and out of cribs, etc. • Legal to work in the US
