Are you enthusiastic about hospitality, people, and beautiful places? By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As the Furniture Refinisher, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functions that keep the park running smoothly.
Job Summary:
The furniture refinisher will assist other team members in various projects, including the fabrication of furniture items, production of wooden signs, and repair and refinishing tasks. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, moving furniture and equipment, and supporting other departments as needed. Flexibility to assist with function setups and additional duties is also expected.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in the fabrication of small in-house furniture projects such as dining room tray jacks, guest unit luggage racks, and picture frames.
- Assisting the Sign Maker with the production of routed wooden signs.
- Assisting in the repair and refinishing of furniture used in the concession operation and completing all furniture renovation projects as assigned.
- Assisting the Upholsterer with re-weaving cane furniture.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, well-organized work area.
- Assisting with the physical movement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment as
- May be asked to help out with function set-ups and breakdowns, Print Shop finish work as well as other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate woodworking tools including power and hand tools.
- Ability to operate commercial spraying equipment.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks to assure quality finished products in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Must be able to be on feet for at least 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to push, pull and carry objects into and out of buildings as well as up and down stairs.
