As a Vending Technician/Assistant Technician,, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly.

 

Job Summary:

These roles involve maintaining and repairing washing machines, dryers, vacuums, and vending machines, along with stocking ice houses and managing inventory of vending parts. These roles also require the safe operation of a company vehicle and delivering professional service to park visitors, while also performing additional tasks as assigned by the Vending Manager.

 

 

The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: Ealy April 2026 to Early October 2026Pay: $18.00/hourlySchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair washing machines, dryers, vacuums, and vending machines
• Maintain and stock all ice houses
• Maintain accurate inventory of vending parts and company property
• Safe maintenance and operation of a company vehicle
• Provide professional and courteous service to park visitors
• All other duties assigned by the Vending Manager

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• General knowledge of Yellowstone National Park
• Mechanical skills
• General accounting skills

Physical Requirements include:

• DOT physical and certification required
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting and reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 5 hours per shift
• Requires occasional climbing, crawling and squatting/kneeling. Could total up to two and one half hours per day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
• Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
