Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Night Auditors across multiple park locations, which includes developing training materials, scheduling staff, ensuring accounting policy compliance, and providing comprehensive operational coverage during night shifts. The role requires extensive travel, independent problem-solving, and maintaining professional communication with staff and management while being flexible enough to handle diverse responsibilities and unexpected situations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy training materials and programs for Night Auditors
- Schedule and coordinate Night Audit Trainers and Traveling Night Auditors
- Support and motivate Night Auditors, assisting with report completion
- Ensure continuous Night Audit shift coverage, including personal fill-ins when necessary
- Enforce Xanterra accounting policies and procedures across all departments and night staff
- Manage park-wide nighttime situations independently
- Maintain positive communication with night audit staff, Location Controllers, and Manager of Field Accounting
- Travel extensively within the park, maintaining accurate records and expense reports
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license and must provide own transportation. Will be paid mileage.
- Knowledge of the night audit preferred
- Knowledge of accounting procedures preferred
- Knowledge of front desk procedures preferred
- Ability to work quickly and accurately without direct supervision
- Knowledge of company policy, particularly accounting policy preferred
- Operation of 10 key calculator by touch
- Time management/organizational skills
- Strong business communication skills
- Working knowledge of the following computer software: Opera®, Kronos Timekeeping®, SimphonyPOS®, MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS Outlook® helpful
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- The ability to effectively train and motivate others
Physical Requirements include:
- Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time
- Extensive walking, lifting, and transporting of supplies and equipment at times
- Loading company vehicles, moving and transporting supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds to and from work stations on location (up to 100 yards)
