The Supervisor position is responsible for directing the operational aspects of the department. The Supervisor assists the Area Manager with department needs and oversees the daily parking operation.
Responsibilities
- Provides counseling regarding disciplinary situations and provides input into discipline, promotion, demotion and termination decisions. Supervises direct reports, daily work performance and conducts performance appraisals on an annual basis.
- Assist with organizing, hiring, developing and managing department staff.
- Makes daily downward adjustments and recommendations for upward adjustments to labor levels based on attendance and traffic demands to meet cost center specific goals.
- Completes all daily, weekly and monthly reports associated with operating a revenue unit including sales reports, cash handling reports, cash logs, over/short reports, break and meal period reports and schedules.
- Ensures guest satisfaction by responding and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner. Assist with traffic control both planned and unplanned situations. Assist with the coordination of other departments' actions that can impact park operation.
- Makes decisions to resolve issues that arise in the daily operation.
- Assists with equipment audits by ensuring all equipment and materials are available for an efficient department operation.
- Communicates department status to Area Manager on an ongoing basis, including operational issues, associate and guest concerns, special requests, losses, and/or any other unusual situations in order to maintain an efficient operation.
- Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.

Qualifications
- Prefer 1 to 2 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a guest service environment.
- Basic computer skills including Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV,
- previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
- law.
