Responsibilities
How You Can Make a Real Impact:
- Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals
- Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments
- Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping
- Empower children to develop skills for daily life
- Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
- Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
- Belong to supportive team that holds one another accountable
- Communicate with residents, families, and guardians

Qualifications
Requirements for School Nurses:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certificate issued by the NJ Department of Education, State Board of Examiners and a current and valid N.J. license are required
- One year of general nursing experience, preferred experience working with the developmentally disabled
- Available Shift: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Salary Range: $70,036 to $93,930
Requirements for Physical Therapist:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a minimum entry-level BS degree required.
- Current N.J. State Physical Therapist license required, as well as N.J. State School certification required.
- Available Shift: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000
Requirements for Registered Nurses:
- Registered Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing with a current and valid N.J. license required
- Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- One year of general nursing experience, preferred experience working with the developmentally disabled
- Available Shift: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Hourly Rate: $36.57-$52.93
Requirements for Special Education Teacher:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree
- Hold a CE, CEAS or Standard License in Elementary Education K-6 or PK-3
- Hold a CE, CEAS or Standard License in TOSD or be eligible to apply for endorsment
- Have effective teaching, facilitation, and communications skills
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience in special education preferred
- Salary Range: $60,587-$90,000. Based on years of experience.
