Overview
The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in the areas of information literacy and computer technology. Specifically, general computing concepts, application usage, and information literacy.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Required
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Relevant computer information technology experience with information literacy, information technology, and/or application usage. Required
- Teaching experience. Preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required
- Developed organizational skills. Required
Responsibilities
- Instruct and evaluate students in the area of general computing concepts, application usage, and information literacy.
- Maintain accurate written records of student's performance.
- Complete official student rosters and return to school office as required.
- Maintain office hours according to contractual guidelines.

Pay Transparency
The part-time rate for 2025/26 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven. The approved substitute pay rate is $48.31 per hour during the first week of substituting and the prorated part-time teacher rate for consecutive substitute assignments that exceed one week.
