Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or carriers based on customer requests and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and track the real-time location and status of drivers and vehicles using GPS and dispatch software.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to provide status updates, delivery instructions, and resolve service issues.
  • Coordinate daily operations and adjust dispatch schedules as needed due to delays, traffic, or emergencies.
  • Relay accurate and timely information regarding delivery times, service requests, and route changes.
  • Provide real-time updates and support to drivers and promptly respond to inquiries or disruptions.
  • Manage last-minute changes or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. 
  • Manage delivery order data received from customers and update relevant information in the master file and Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Customer Service, Operations, and Settlement, to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in dispatching tools, company software, and databases used for driver communication and coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Drive.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a collaborative environment.
  • Capable of performing under pressure and managing sudden deadlines or shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues independently.
  • A reliable team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English.

 

The base pay range for this role is between $48,000 - $68,000/yr, and your base pay will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
