WHY VEIR?
VEIR is enabling a new generation of compact, efficient, high-power, and long-distance power delivery solutions, solving bottlenecks that exist across the entire electricity value chain, from generation through to data center server racks. VEIR's low voltage superconducting solutions are enabling new power delivery architectures in the world’s largest data centers and our higher voltage solutions are poised to revolutionize the development of electricity transmission and distribution lines. VEIR is preparing for rapid growth as we seek to solve critical challenges facing data center developers, electricity generation developers, and utilities around the world.
VEIR is seeking a Principal Cryogenic Systems Engineer to serve as a deep technical expert responsible for the design, analysis, and performance of VEIR’s cryogenic cooling systems. This role is focused on hands-on engineering execution and technical problem-solving across development, testing, and early deployments of VEIR’s HTS cable systems.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for cryogenic system behavior and performance, owning complex technical problems from concept through validation. You will work closely with system integration, heat transfer, superconducting systems, electrical, and controls engineers to ensure cryogenic designs meet demanding thermal, reliability, and operational requirements in real-world environments.
This role emphasizes technical depth, rigor, and execution rather than people or organizational leadership.
