The Coil Winder Auto Weld position is vital to our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. As a Coil Winder, you will be responsible for the automatic winding and welding of coils used in our transformers, contributing to the craftsmanship that Central Moloney is known for.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automatic coil winding and welding machines.
• Follow engineering specifications and production schedules accurately to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to meet coil specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect finished coils for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Knowledge of coil winding processes and welding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for operating machinery and recording production data.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.

Physical and Environmental Requirements 

• Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. 

• Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors. 

• Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed. 

• PPE: Wear the required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear. 

• Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment). 

• Stamina: Stand for long shifts. 

• Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork. 

• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
