We are looking for a new Senior Strategy Consultant to join the Strategy Office in Novo Holdings to support the continued ambitious strategy development of Novo Holdings, a world leading investor in people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet.  

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be involved in development of the group level strategy and be a strategic business partner with direct interface to our investment areas.

Since 1999 we have been investing to promote groundbreaking solutions in healthcare and bio-sustainability while generating attractive returns that advance the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s grant-giving activities - supporting scientific, humanitarian, and social causes. The job  

The role as Senior Strategy Consultant offers significant professional and personal development opportunities. It involves an array of tasks and responsibilities in continuous development of Novo Holding’s ambitious strategy and processes. Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and team you will:  

• Support the continuous refinement of the group level strategy 

• Develop consistent and coherent high-quality strategies across investment areas 

• Serve as a strategic business partner for the Managing Partners in our investment teams  

• As part of the strategic development, identify and implement process improvement through cross-standardisation and process development  

• Build and institutionalize a knowledge base covering industry/technology/investment modality trends to strengthen insights brought into strategy development

Professional qualifications  

We are looking for a candidate with:  

• 2-2½ years of experience from top tier management consultancy firm or corporate equivalent  

• Relevant master’s degree or PhD from business school, technical or natural sciences background, with excellent academic results   

• Experience in strategy development, strategy execution and driving change processes    

• Ability to drive and manage workstreams independently  

• Ability to manage and interact with senior stakeholders   

• Financial acumen and ability to handle complex financial and market analytics  

• Well-developed consultancy toolbox (Excel, PowerPoint)  

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); Danish is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
