Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Admitting Clerk - We have a Per-Diem opening for an Admitting Clerk.

What You’ll Do:

The Admitting Clerk is responsible for:

  • Admitting patients by gathering and recording physician, patient, and payment responsibility information
  • Verify patient insurance and personal identification documents
  • Ensure registration forms are properly signed
  • Providing hospital and hospital services information, and other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • High school, GED, or equivalent required
  • Must have at least 6 months experience in healthcare admitting and insurance verification
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to concentrate on task in high traffic areas
  • Therapeutic Options™ training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor

We have been delivering Behavioral Health Treatment Services since 1941. Our hospital is located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Covina is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley, close to 10, 60 and 210 FWY.
