Job Summary:
The Lodging Front Office Trainer is responsible for the training and support of the Front Desk, Bell and Campground Front Desk operations park wide in Yellowstone. The role will serve two major functions: incoming employee training and continued on-site and remote support/development. They will assist in training content creation, facilitate content delivery, work closely with the managers and line-level staff, provide subject matter expertise in Front Desk and Campground operation, maintain and grow working relationships with Hotel Managers and field staff, fill gaps at Front Desks and Campgrounds where needed and at the direction of the Manager of Campground and Front Office Operations.

Responsibilities
- Initial Training: Responsible for training incoming employees on job-specific skills related to Front Desk and Campground positions. The Front Office Trainer will utilize the materials created by the Learning and Development and Support teams in a consistent, positive and thorough manner. This includes ensuring understanding and consistency of processes and policies park wide.
- Continued Training: Responsible for refresher training and skills reinforcement throughout the season.
- On-Site Support: Frequent trips (as directed by the MCFO) to Campgrounds and Front Desk locations for the purposes of: assisting understaffed desks, new role transition, ensuring maintenance of Legendary Hospitality standards.
- Remote Support: When not actively engaged in the field, the Front Office Trainer will be available by phone to answer questions and provide advice to their Front Desk and Campground teams.
- Lodging Systems Team Support: Assistance with Lodging Systems tasks as needed – including property openings/closings, payroll verification, folio reconciliation, and supply requisition.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with all relevant partnering departments. In addition to the Front Desk teams, the Front Office Trainer is expected to establish constructive communication lines with Hotel Managers, offering guidance and suggestions as subject matter experts. The Front Office Trainer will also encourage and aid the field in establishing cooperative relationships with departments related to the operation of a Front Desk (ex. Housekeeping, Accounting, Human Resources, etc.)
- L+D Assistance: The Manager of Campground and Front Desk Operations will collaborate with the Learning and Development team on a regular basis. As a result of these meetings, Lodging Front Office Trainers will be required to complete assignments and give advice to assist the L+D team at the direction of the MCFO.
- Role/Schedule Flexibility: Position must be prepared to act in any Front Office or Campground role, at any location, depending on need.
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age and possess a valid US Driver’s License
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience at Front Desk or Campground preferred.

Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including guest rooms, outdoor spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other maintenance-related products.
- In-park travel and overnight stays required.
