Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documents
- Track equipment, materials, deliveries, and procurement
- Support the PM with scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and cost tracking
- Assist with BIM coordination and prefabrication
- Visit job sites to monitor progress, materials, punch lists, and field coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, GCs, and field teams
- Assist with commissioning, inspections, warranties, and project closeout
- Help ensure projects meet quality and safety requirements
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing construction, project management, or project engineering
- Experience with a mechanical contractor, GC, or MEP subcontractor preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial mechanical and plumbing systems
- Ability to read MEP drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing equipment such as AHUs, pumps, chillers, VAVs, and hydronic systems
- Experience with submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred/required
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- BIM experience with Navisworks or Revit is a plus
- Scheduling software experience such as P6 or MS Project is a plus
- Trade/field background such as plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC mechanic is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent field or trade experience will be considered
